MEET DESIREE W.

Born in the Orient, educated in Western Europe, Desiree is an                    experienced global traveler. Desiree went to college majoring in film.      Due to her worldwide experiences she had the desire to tell the stories of those who were underprivileged, less fortunate, affected by racism, misogyny, and  hatred. But while in college something changed. Desiree realized that she didn’t just want to tell their stories, she wanted to help the people those stories were about. Desiree realized that the only way to achieve that goal was through education, diplomacy, and policy change.

To do this she realized that becoming a United States ambassador was the path that she needed to follow.

She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Political Science/International Relations, with a 3.54 GPA. Today, Desiree is a 21-year-old first-year student pursuing her master’s degree in International Affairs at George Washington University.
Desiree is passionate about mental health, world, and women’s health. She is passionate about ensuring that witnesses and victims of mass atrocities are not ignored or made to feel alone. Her studies in atrocity prevention, foreign policy, private and foreign politics as well as political/military issues and the addressing of these policies are just a few of her goals as she follows her educational
journey.

It is Desiree’s beliefs, actions, and perseverance that we admire and are proud
to foster as she pursues her goals.
